I started in TV advertising in 1996, I think one of the best starting grounds in media. I worked for four years in TV and thoroughly enjoyed my time in that field of advertising. However around that time the power of the Internet was starting to become clear and I chose a move into digital in 2000.
That move started a journey through my career where by I chose to always focus on digital media and high growth businesses. In 2010 I started the Trading Desk for Publicis Groupe, Audience on Demand. It started with me and support from US and we grew that business to a 100s of millions of euros.
Spotify was a change of direction but some similar feelings of taking something less popular and making it mainstream. Streaming audio advertising over the next four years became one of the hottest media channels available and my time at Spotify culminated with winning Sales Team of the Year.
I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of growing a business, turning something around or putting it on the map. Leadership is an overused word but I feel that I have developed some very strong leadership principles and I try to apply those to any scenario my clients or team may have.
Outside of professional roles I have enjoyed mentoring and supporting various important causes. I am a mentor to a number of people, I have dedicated 100s of hours to helping those people who needed one off advice and support. I am particularly keen to support less privileged students, I have been an Ambassador for Speakers4schools, Advisory Board member for CHL, focused on D&I in advertising,
